While positive criticism is good and all, you really need to make those higher resolution, especially that bird in the first one.

Patrick The first one was for a contest and the photo I used couldn't be copyrited, and that's pretty much best I found. But ok I'll make higher resolution in the future.

Nero if you can try to reduce the yellow and green in your picture, I think it's contrasting with your choice of red in a weird way. Also there's the gray areas by the second girls foot that feel out of place. But I like the city you added to the background and the seeming glow of their eyes.

Silent you almost got it right, try replacing Emanuel with the creature in the first image and adding another b to the last name.

This project is a few years old and i dont plan to overhaul it.
But here is a tip:

If you want to improve your photoshop skills, look for photoshop tutorials.
You learn a lot of very cool tricks this way.

I'm subscribed to tutvid tutorials as of now but tbh I have more fun exploring out on my own than by sitting and watching another guy do it all for me.

Of course, experimenting is a big thing.
This is how you get professional, by discovering nice effects and ways to edit yourself.
But if you need a very specific result, tutorials are great to expand your capabilities and inspire you.

I feel like you're overusing paint-brush effects :/.
EDIT: It's like the only reason the images are different from the originals...

RE: Photoshop Gallery - Ciphon - 07-10-2012

I'm not quite sure I follow.

I hardly even touched the paintbrush for my signature.

Paintbrush effects.

Filters -> Brush Strokes.

RE: Photoshop Gallery - Ciphon - 07-10-2012

The only filter I used was lighting effects on my name.

In your works that you posted, dude! Not your signature >_>.

RE: Photoshop Gallery - Ciphon - 07-10-2012

Ooh ok :p.
Well I'll try to refrain from using it as much then. But I made all of them so long ago I can't even recall half of the steps I put into them.
