Looking for Decent Graphics Card - GoDjMike - 01-10-2012 After buying a Radeon HD 5275 from DoughnutSpanker, I started having problems with my computer booting slowly, for no apparent reason. I assumed that it was my Power Supply that I had just bought or my HDD, but it was the card. So, Doughboy was kind enough to refund me, and now I'm looking for another card. I have a few limitations though, to how much I want to spend, and what kind/how much memory I would like it to have. Must be: Nvidia (I hate ati now, damn you and you mind reading Orcworm) Under $130 (For now at least) At least 1 GB GDDR5 This is going to be a placeholder card until I get a bit more money in about 2 months. RE: Looking for Decent Graphics Card - MonstaBoi - 01-10-2012 Some of these could work? i dunno, i looked for about 5 minutes while currently sleep deprived. Runs Skyrim on high at 60 fps or so, I can't really tell past 60. RE: Looking for Decent Graphics Card - PureCraft - 01-10-2012 >Skyrim Sorry, but even my grandmothers laptop runs that shit at 50fps RE: Looking for Decent Graphics Card - Orcworm - 01-10-2012 (01-10-2012, 08:41 PM)patrickfreed Wrote: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-102-908&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=5&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=2#scrollFullInfo That's because your monitor is 60Hz, it's technically impossible.
