New texture pack (New thread) - Rardical - 02-09-2012
I just started making the 32x32 texture pack like I said I would. I have only changed a few blocks so far so tell me what you think.

I like the brick, that looks really accurate. The wood and wood planks are nice too and the stone looks fine

32x32 don't look good to me, but this one seems to be good. (Also, the grass doesn't look too good)

I actually didn't edit the grass yet. I only changed the dirt block and the dirt on the grass block. I didn't do much to the dirt though. I just got rid of the gray pixels on it.
Edit: How does it look now? I also have the stone slab edited in this screenshot.

Too bright. And make the pixels on the dirt less random, it kinda looks like crap if you stare at it for a while.
Actually no, look near the top right corner. See how there's a chunk that has no dark dirt color? Put some dark brown there.
And maybe lower the grass on the sides.
But make the texture pack darker overall.

My thoughts:
- Wooden Planks look a bit blurry.
- Dirt could use a new texture.
- I like the grass, just the sides should be different, I can also see a slight blur too, remove it.
- The stone slabs need more of a "texture", for now they only look like gray boxes with a darker gray border. (Maybe try a slight transition between the lighter gray and the darker gray too)

I fixed the dirt/grass. I also changed the diamond and diamond sword. I will get to the stone slabs.

Maybe make the swords blade thicker though. I like the red on it a lot.

Personally I think the grass looks ugly now. But the stone slabs are much better. The dirt also looks pretty good!
The item icons are meh.
